✦ MIQAT STOP AVAILABLE

Does Your Taxi Stop at the Miqat for Ihram?

Yes — and we understand exactly what this stop means to you. Tell us when you book and we route your journey to include an unhurried stop at Masjid al-Juranah — the Miqat point on the Jeddah–Makkah route, approximately 16km from Masjid al-Haram.

This is where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Ihram after the Battle of Hunayn. Your driver waits with patience — no rushing, no extra charge to hurry you — while you perform ghusl, put on your Ihram, make your niyyah, and begin the Talbiyah before crossing into the Haram boundary.

The Five Miqat Points of Islam

Masjid al-Juranah — For those within the Haram boundary beginning a new Umrah
Dhul Hulaifa (Abyar Ali) — For those travelling from the direction of Madinah
Al-Juhfa (Rabigh) — For those travelling from the direction of the Levant and north
Qarn al-Manazil (Al-Sayl) — For those travelling from the direction of Najd
Yalamlam (Sa’adiyah) — For those travelling from the direction of Yemen and the south

Miqat Stop Add-on

SAR 70–100

Added to your Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi fare · 20–30 min wait · No rush

We do not give religious guidance — please confirm the correct Miqat for your situation with your scholar before travelling.

⚠ PEAK SEASON TRAVEL

Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah & Rabi al-Awwal — Read This First

During these three blessed months, millions of Muslims from across the world converge on Makkah and Madinah at the same time. The Haramain Expressway — which normally takes 75 to 90 minutes — can take 2 to 4 hours or more. Sometimes longer.

This is not a booking-system problem. It is the reality of the road when hundreds of thousands of pilgrims are moving at the same hour, checkpoints are active, and certain routes are restricted to authorised vehicles only.

What changes during peak months

Journey time — 2 to 4 hours instead of the usual 75–90 minutes
Vehicle availability — tightens weeks before the season begins
Road checkpoints — active throughout the season, causing delays
Pricing — seasonal rates apply and are confirmed at time of booking
Booking deadline — most vehicles are taken 4–8 weeks before the season starts

For Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah & Rabi al-Awwal

Do not use the online form for these seasons.

Seasonal pricing, availability, and route conditions must be confirmed directly. Please contact us by phone or WhatsApp and we will give you an honest answer on timing, price, and vehicle availability for your exact dates.

✦ SPECIAL CARE

We Understand What This Journey Means

For Families with Elderly Pilgrims

46% of Umrah pilgrims experience foot problems from the physical demands of the pilgrimage. Every bit of energy your parents have needs to go to Tawaf and Sa’i β€” not to navigating an unfamiliar airport.

When you book for elderly passengers, the driver knows before arrival. He parks closest to the exit, takes every bag without being asked, and gives passengers all the time they need to settle.

Best vehicles: Toyota HiAce (tall cabin entry), GMC Yukon XL (premium comfort), Hyundai Staria (wide door entry).

For Female Pilgrims Travelling to Makkah

Women now make up 47.7% of all Hajj and Umrah pilgrims following Saudi Arabia’s relaxation of the mahram requirement. Thousands of women travel for Umrah alone, with friends, or with their children every week.

Every driver conducts every journey with complete professional conduct β€” no unnecessary conversation, no personal questions, direct route to your hotel. You have your driver’s name, vehicle registration, and our office number before you land.

Recommended: Hyundai Staria or HiAce for female groups. Toyota Camry for solo female pilgrims with a confirmed named driver.

What Pilgrims Say β€” Pakistan, UK, Indonesia, Nigeria & Beyond

★★★★★

“I had heard so many horror stories about airport touts in Jeddah. The driver was already there when we came through arrivals β€” board with my name, calm, no rushing. My in-laws are in their 70s. He loaded every bag, helped them into the Staria. My father-in-law made Tawaf that morning.”

Adnan R.

Birmingham, UK  Β·  North Terminal, October 2025

★★★★★

“We were 9 from Indonesia β€” one group booking. Two vehicles, coordinated arrival, everyone at the same hotel together. No confusion, no waiting. We started Ziyarat the same afternoon. I will recommend this service to our entire jamaah back home.”

Pak Farid H.

Jakarta, Indonesia  Β·  Terminal 1, January 2026

★★★★★

“Travelling as a woman alone for the first time, I had read warnings about airport touts. The driver was professional, respectful, completely focused on the drive. I arrived at my hotel in Al-Misfalah at 4am and walked to the Haram for Fajr.”

Amina T.

Toronto, Canada  Β·  North Terminal, November 2025

★★★★★

“We booked the HiAce for eight people including two elderly parents. Both boarded without difficulty β€” no bending, no rushing. The driver loaded everything himself. My parents began this Umrah exactly as it should begin.”

Tariq N.

Manchester, UK  Β·  Terminal 1, February 2026

★★★★★

“I asked about a Miqat stop at Masjid Juranah. The driver knew exactly where it was, waited patiently for 25 minutes, helped an uncle with his Ihram. I have never experienced this level of understanding from a transport service.”

✦ HOW IT WORKS

Our Process

No complicated booking system. Our Umrah taxi service runs on WhatsApp — here is exactly what happens from the moment you message us to the moment you reach your hotel.

1

WhatsApp us before your flight

Send us a message on WhatsApp with four things — your flight number, which terminal you land at, how many people are in your group, and your hotel name in Makkah. That is all we need to get started. Most pilgrims send this the same day they book their flight tickets.

2

We reply with your driver’s details

Within a few minutes you get back one confirmed message — your driver’s full name, his mobile number, your vehicle, and the fixed SAR price. Screenshot it. Send it to your family if you want. That message is your booking. No reference numbers, no portals, no apps.

3

Your driver tracks your flight

We have your flight number. If your flight is on time, he arrives on time. If it is delayed by two hours, he waits. You do not send updates. He times his arrival around your actual landing. You do not need to do anything.

4

Walk out of arrivals

Your driver is at the gate with a board showing your name. He takes your bags. He helps your family into the vehicle. The journey to Makkah takes 75 to 90 minutes via the Haramain Expressway. You arrive at your hotel entrance.

5

Pay at the end

When you reach your hotel you pay the agreed SAR price — the same number that was in your confirmation message. Not one riyal more. Cash or approved transfer. No card machine, no tips expected, no hidden charges.

📱 Start on WhatsApp — takes 2 minutes

✦ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Jeddah Airport to Makkah Taxi β€” Questions Pilgrims Ask Most

How Much Is a Taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

The Jeddah Airport to Makkah taxi fare for a private transfer is between SAR 200 and SAR 380 depending on vehicle size. Toyota Camry (1–3 passengers) starts at SAR 200. Toyota HiAce (10-12 passengers) runs SAR 300–380. Hyundai Staria (7-8 passengers) is SAR 300–360. GMC Yukon XL is SAR 450–550. All prices are fixed β€” agreed before you board, no meter.

How Long Does the Taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah Take?

The drive takes 75 to 90 minutes in normal traffic. Distance is 85–95km via the Haramain Expressway. On Friday afternoons add 30–40 minutes. During Ramadan evenings add up to 60 minutes. Late-night arrivals (midnight to 5am) are the fastest β€” the road is quiet and checkpoints are minimal.

Which Terminal at Jeddah Airport Do I Arrive At?

Jeddah Airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 handles Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, Saudia, and Etihad. North Terminal handles PIA, IndiGo, Air India, Biman Bangladesh, and budget carriers. Hajj Terminal operates during Hajj season only. Check your boarding pass β€” it states your terminal. Tell us when you book.

Is It Safe to Take a Taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

A pre-booked licensed private taxi is the safest option. The risk is unofficial drivers who approach pilgrims inside the arrivals hall β€” no licence, no insurance, no accountability. With us you receive your driver’s name, mobile number, and vehicle registration before you land. You know exactly who you are looking for.

Can I Book a Taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah Before I Leave My Home Country?

Yes β€” and this is strongly recommended. WhatsApp us your flight number, terminal, passenger count, and hotel name from anywhere in the world. We confirm your driver, fixed price, and pickup details immediately. You have everything in writing before you board your flight.

Does the Taxi Stop at Miqat for Ihram on the Way to Makkah?

Yes. Tell us when you book and we include a stop at Masjid Juranah β€” the Miqat point on the Jeddah–Makkah route. You get enough time to make ghusl, change into Ihram, make your niyyah, and begin the Talbiyah before crossing the Haram boundary. Adds 20–30 minutes and SAR 30 to the fare.

What Is the Difference Between HiAce and Staria for Umrah?

The HiAce seats 10-12 and carries 8–10 large suitcases β€” maximum capacity, taller cabin, better for large groups and heavy luggage. The Staria seats 7-8 and carries 6–8 suitcases β€” more refined interior, wider doors, better for elderly passengers. Both SAR 300–380. Choose HiAce for luggage volume. Choose Staria for passenger comfort.

Is Uber Available from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

Yes, Uber and Careem operate from Jeddah Airport. However, both apply surge pricing β€” during Ramadan nights and peak hours the fare can reach SAR 400+ for a route that costs SAR 200 on a fixed booking. There is also no guaranteed vehicle size, no flight tracking, no name board at arrivals, and no Miqat stop option.

What Happens If My Flight Is Delayed?

Your driver tracks your flight in real time using your flight number. If your flight is delayed by one hour, two hours, or more β€” he adjusts automatically. You do not pay extra for waiting caused by flight delays. You will also receive a WhatsApp update if your delay extends beyond two hours.

Can I Book a Return Taxi from Makkah to Jeddah Airport?

Yes. The return from Makkah to Jeddah Airport is SAR 200–380 depending on vehicle β€” same fixed prices as the arrival transfer. Book your return at the same time as your arrival to guarantee availability. During Ramadan and Hajj season, last-minute returns are not always possible.

How Much Is a Taxi from Makkah to Madinah?

A private taxi from Makkah to Madinah costs SAR 400–500 for a Camry or Innova, SAR 450–550 for a HiAce or Staria, and SAR 600–700 for a GMC Yukon. The route is 420–450km and takes 4 to 4.5 hours. Rest stops available on request. Madinah to Makkah is the same price.

Do Your Drivers Speak Urdu or English?

Yes. We have Urdu-speaking drivers for Pakistani and Indian pilgrims, English-speaking drivers for UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Nigeria, and Arabic-speaking drivers for Egyptian, Jordanian, and Gulf passengers. Indonesian coordination available for groups. Mention your preferred language when you book.

What Vehicles Are Available for the Jeddah Airport to Makkah Transfer?

We operate six vehicles: Toyota Camry (SAR 200–230, 1–3 passengers), Toyota Innova (SAR 250–280, 1–5 passengers), Toyota HiAce (SAR 300–380, 10-12 passengers), Hyundai Staria (SAR 300–360, 7-8 passengers), GMC Yukon XL (SAR 450–550, up to 6 passengers), Toyota Coaster (SAR 700–950, up to 22 passengers). All air-conditioned, 2023 or newer.

Is a Taxi Available from Jeddah Airport at 3am?

Yes. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year β€” including 3am, 4am, and 5am arrivals. Late-night flights from the UK, USA, Pakistan, and Australia commonly land at JED between midnight and 5am. Your driver will be at arrivals regardless of what time your flight lands.

How Do I Know the Price Will Not Change When I Arrive?

Your confirmed price is written in your WhatsApp confirmation before you fly. That is the price you pay at the end of the journey β€” nothing more. If a driver quotes differently at the car, call our office number immediately. It is in your confirmation. In ten years of operation, no confirmed booking has had a price dispute.

Can You Drop Me at My Hotel Near Masjid al-Haram?

Yes β€” and your hotel’s exact drop-off point matters. Streets around the Abraj al-Bait, Ajyad, and Ibrahim al-Khalil area have vehicle access restrictions during prayer times. Our drivers know the permitted entry points for every major hotel in Makkah including Fairmont, Hilton Suites, SwissΓ΄tel, Conrad, and Al-Misfalah district properties.

Do You Offer Makkah Ziyarat Tours?

Yes. A full-day Makkah Ziyarat tour covers Jabal al-Nour (Cave of Hira β€” visit before 7am), Jabal Thawr, Masjid Aisha/Taneem, Jannat al-Mu’alla, Masjid Jinn, Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifa, and the Kiswah Factory. Six to eight hours. SAR 300–400 per vehicle. Driver explains the Islamic significance of every site.

Do You Offer Madinah Ziyarat Tours?

Yes. A full-day Madinah Ziyarat tour covers Masjid Quba, Masjid Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and Shuhada-e-Uhud, Saba Masajid, Jannat al-Baqi, Bir Rumah, Garden of Salman Farsi RA, Masjid Gamama, and the Quran Factory on Tabu Road (open after Asr). SAR 350–450 per vehicle, full day, private.

Is There a Shared Taxi Option from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

We do not offer shared rides. Every booking is a private, dedicated vehicle for your group only. Shared taxis exist at JED but mean waiting for the car to fill, multiple stops, and unpredictable luggage space. For pilgrims arriving after long flights at night with family and heavy luggage, the price difference is rarely worth the trade-off.

Are Prices Higher During Ramadan 2027?

Ramadan 2027 begins 2 February 2027 and ends approximately 3 March 2027. During Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, and Rabi al-Awwal, seasonal rates apply. The standard fare is not guaranteed during these periods because vehicle demand far exceeds supply, journey times increase from the usual 75–90 minutes to 2–4 hours, and road conditions require direct coordination. For Ramadan 2027 transfers, do not use the online form — WhatsApp or call us directly to confirm availability, pricing, and vehicle options for your exact dates.

Can You Help with Wheelchair Passengers at Jeddah Airport?

Yes. Tell us when you book. Our GMC Yukon, Hyundai Staria, and Toyota HiAce all have the interior height and space for wheelchair passengers. We coordinate with Jeddah Airport ground services for arrivals wheelchair assistance and park as close to the accessible exit as permitted.

How Do I Book a Taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah?

WhatsApp us your flight number, arrival date, terminal, passenger count, luggage count, and hotel name. We reply with your driver’s name, vehicle, and fixed price β€” usually within minutes. Screenshot the confirmation. Your driver tracks your flight and meets you at arrivals with a name board. Payment is in SAR at the end of the journey.
