Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi (operating as makkahumrahtaxi.com) is a licensed private taxi service registered with the Saudi Transport General Authority (License No. MDKA7617), based in Al Kakiyyah, Makkah 24352, Saudi Arabia. By booking or using any of our transportation services, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out below. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking with Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi — whether by WhatsApp, phone, email, or through our website — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to the person making the booking and all passengers travelling in the vehicle.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will govern your journey.

Services Provided

Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi provides private, non-shared transportation services for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims and travellers, including:

  • Airport transfers — Jeddah (King Abdulaziz International Airport, all terminals) to Makkah, Madinah, and surrounding areas
  • Intercity transfers — Makkah to Madinah and return, Makkah/Madinah to Riyadh, and other Saudi city routes
  • Ziyarat (religious site) tours in Makkah and Madinah
  • Miqat stops for Ihram preparation on arrival from the airport
  • Hotel-to-hotel and city transfers within Makkah and Madinah

All transfers are private and non-shared. Your vehicle will not be shared with other passengers or groups unless you have specifically requested and confirmed a shared arrangement.

Booking & Confirmation

Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, phone call, email, or our website contact form. To confirm your reservation, please provide:

  • Your full name and contact number
  • Flight number, arrival terminal, and arrival date/time
  • Number of passengers and luggage pieces
  • Pickup location and destination (including hotel name)
  • Any special requirements (wheelchair, elderly passenger, child seat, etc.)

A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from us including the driver's name, vehicle details, and the agreed fare. Verbal agreements are not binding until confirmed in writing via WhatsApp or email.

Our drivers track your flight in real time. If your flight is delayed, your driver will wait — no extra charge applies for flight delays beyond your control.

Pricing & Payment

All fares quoted by Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi are fixed prices — there are no meters, no surge charges, and no hidden fees. The price you are given at booking is the price you pay, provided the journey details remain unchanged.

  • Payment is accepted in cash (Saudi Riyals) or by bank transfer, upon arrival at the destination unless otherwise agreed
  • An advance deposit may be requested for group bookings, multi-day arrangements, or peak season travel (Ramadan, Dhul Hijjah, Rabi al-Awwal)
  • If additional services are requested after confirmation (e.g., extra stops, route changes, additional passengers), a revised fare will be agreed before the service is rendered
  • Seasonal rate adjustments apply during high-demand Umrah and Hajj seasons and will be disclosed at the time of booking

Invoices or receipts can be provided on request.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled pickup — Full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup — The deposit is non-refundable
  • No-shows — If the passenger fails to appear at the agreed pickup point without prior notice, the booking is considered cancelled and no refund will be issued
  • Company-initiated cancellations — In the unlikely event that we must cancel due to vehicle breakdown, emergency, or force majeure, a full refund will be issued or an alternative vehicle arranged at no extra cost
Flight delays do not count as cancellations or no-shows. If your inbound flight is delayed, your driver will track it and wait at no extra charge.

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete booking information — incorrect details that cause a missed pickup are the passenger's responsibility
  • Being ready at the agreed pickup point at the confirmed time for non-airport journeys
  • Notifying us promptly of any changes to flight details, passenger numbers, or pickup location
  • Ensuring all personal documents (passports, visas, Umrah permits) are valid and available for the journey
  • Supervising children and ensuring child safety seat requirements are communicated at the time of booking
  • Paying for any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers due to negligence, spillage, or misconduct

Conduct in the Vehicle

To ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers and our drivers, the following rules apply inside all Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi vehicles:

  • Seatbelts must be worn at all times by all passengers where fitted
  • Smoking, vaping, and the consumption of alcohol or any prohibited substances are strictly forbidden
  • Passengers must not distract, interfere with, or behave in a manner that threatens the safety of the driver
  • Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, or disrespectful towards drivers or other passengers will not be tolerated
  • Food and drinks may be consumed at the driver's discretion; passengers are responsible for any mess or damage caused

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a journey without refund if a passenger's behaviour puts the driver or other passengers at risk.

Luggage Policy

A reasonable amount of luggage per passenger is included in the fare based on the vehicle type selected. As a general guide:

  • Standard saloon (Toyota Camry, Sonata) — up to 2 suitcases + hand luggage per passenger
  • MPV/Van (HiAce, Staria, Starex H1) — up to 1–2 suitcases per passenger depending on group size
  • SUV (GMC Yukon, Suburban) — generous boot space; consult us for large groups

If you are travelling with oversized, excess, or unusual luggage (e.g., wheelchair, medical equipment, large strollers), please inform us at the time of booking so we can assign the correct vehicle.

Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi does not accept liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings, luggage, or valuables left in the vehicle. Passengers are advised to keep valuables with them at all times.

Flight Delays & Waiting Time

We understand that flight delays are common and beyond your control. Our policy is:

  • For inbound flight delays, your driver will monitor your flight in real time and adjust arrival accordingly — no extra waiting charge applies
  • For non-airport pickups, drivers will wait up to 15 minutes after the agreed pickup time at no extra cost. After 15 minutes, a waiting charge of SAR 20 per 15 minutes may apply
  • If we are unable to contact the passenger after reasonable attempts and a 30-minute wait, the booking may be treated as a no-show

Service Limitations & Right to Refuse

Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi operates subject to local regulations, road conditions, and vehicle availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, or poses a safety risk
  • Modify or cancel a journey in the event of severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, or force majeure events
  • Substitute a vehicle of equal or greater capacity if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable, without penalty
  • Decline bookings that fall outside our designated service areas

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic congestion, road accidents, adverse weather, or government checkpoints.

Liability & Disclaimer

Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi carries valid insurance coverage as required by Saudi law for all vehicles in our fleet. In the event of an accident caused by driver negligence, our insurance will cover eligible claims.

However, we are not liable for:

  • Delays, missed flights, missed connections, or consequential losses caused by traffic, road closures, or events outside our control
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings and luggage
  • Medical emergencies arising during the journey unrelated to a vehicle incident
  • Losses arising from inaccurate booking information provided by the passenger

Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the fare paid for the journey in question.

Privacy & Data

Any personal information you provide when making a booking (name, phone number, email, flight details) is used solely to arrange and confirm your transfer. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

By booking with us, you consent to us storing and using your contact details for booking-related communications. For full details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on makkahumrahtaxi.com — including text, images, logos, pricing tables, and page designs — is the property of Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi and is protected under applicable copyright laws. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from a booking or journey with Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

We encourage customers to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any concerns — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through our customer support channels.

Changes to These Terms

Al Yousaf Umrah Taxi reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We recommend checking this page periodically, especially before making a new booking.
